Ekaruka is a real estate agency operating in Lebanon. You can reach us on +961 3 269 733 or at invest@ekaruka.com about anything on this page, including a request to delete your data.
When you send a property request: your phone number, and anything else you choose to add, your name, email, the area and budget you are looking for, and your notes. Only the phone number is required, because it is how we call you back.
When you open an account: your email address and a password. The password is stored hashed with scrypt, which means we cannot read it and neither can anyone who obtains the file. Anything else, your name, area or phone number, is optional and added by you later.
When you publish a property: the details and photographs you upload.
When you use "around me": your position, in your browser, to search near you. It is sent to our server to run that one search and is not stored against you.
Automatically: your IP address, briefly, to limit how many requests can be sent from one connection. It is not used to identify you and is not stored with your request.
Ekaruka staff see it. If you send a property request, brokers registered with us and approved by us can take it on, and once a broker takes your request they are shown your name and phone number so they can contact you. At most six brokers can take a single request. You can see exactly who has taken it in your dashboard, rate them, and block any broker so they never receive a future request of yours.
Property listings we find on public portals are shown to you with the source and the advertising agency removed. That is a commercial choice on our side and does not involve your data.
On our own server in France, not on a third-party marketing platform. Email is delivered through Brevo, which processes the message in order to send it.
Requests are kept while we are working on them and afterwards as a record of what was agreed. Accounts are kept until you ask us to close them. Ask us to delete either and we will, except where we are required to keep a record of a completed transaction.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by calling +961 3 269 733 or emailing invest@ekaruka.com. You do not need an account to ask, and there is no charge.
One cookie, set only when you sign in, so the site knows it is you on the next page. It is marked HttpOnly and Secure, so it cannot be read by scripts and does not travel over plain HTTP. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it.
